We had some fun celebrating this past week. Daddy's birthday was Thursday, and the girls were excited for it all week long. We got to share lunch with friends on Wednesday and Thursday in honor of Daddy. At our Wednesday lunch, Tierney was very into her food!
After helping me choose and wrap gifts, the girls spent all day Thursday wishing Daddy a Happy Birthday. They could hardly contain themselves, they were so excited. Ezri helped me plan dinner and both girls helped me make it. After dinner, they were so anxious for him to open his gifts, they nearly opened them for him.
Then, they rushed Daddy back to the table for his special Birthday dessert - an apple cinnamon braid.
We finished out our week helping friends install windows and spending time together. Sunday, the girls and I spent the afternoon together at Grandpa and Grandma's so Daddy could get some much needed rest to recover from a cold, and the girls got to spend time outside playing in some beautiful fall weather with their cousins.
This week began with Ezri attending her second 4-H meeting. She is so excited to be a part of 4-H and has enjoyed making a project at each meeting, taking in all of the meeting processes and learning about saying pledges and being a part of a club. I am excited for her and enjoying watching her learn and grow in this way.
