We had lots of fun this past week. After taking a day to settle down after the fourth, we were back in action again. Wednesday, I made a last minute decision to take the girls to a free movie in Allegan at the Regent Theater, Minions. Travis, Emmett and Kathy joined us for the fun. This was the girls' first time seeing a movie in a theater, so there was a lot of excitement and seat hopping before it began as well as talking and movement during. Good thing the theater was packed with other kids doing the same.
Tierney was awake for previews and then slept through most of the movie.
Wednesday afternoon, we sat down with the girls to share some fun news with them...
Ezri and Alora are going to be big sisters again, and Tierney is getting her shot at being a big sister! Baby W #4 will be joining us sometime in February.
Thursday, the girls and I spent the day with Oma and Aunt Becky, who was in town for a visit. We went to the Grand Rapids Public Museum for a few hours, and the girls had a great time playing and exploring.
The carousel was a big hit too!
When we got back to Oma's the girls played while I ran some errands. They got spoiled by Aunt Becky and got some fun new toys for the sand, popsicle molds and a bubble machine, which they absolutely love!
Friday, we had a water filled day. We started out the morning with some MOPS friends at the splash pad in Wayland. After a picnic lunch, we headed to Aunt Nancy's house and spent some time swimming. Aunt Kerri, Aubrey and Wesley joined us there, and Kathy, Emmett and Travis followed along to play too. There were a lot of kids and everyone had a great time! We also got to visit with Great Grandma and Aunt Nancy some too.
Aunt Nancy has loads of raspberries on her plants right now, so the kids filled their bellies there, and then again at home. Tierney loves raspberries, and I often find her sneaking them by the hand full. Needless to say, she makes a bit of a mess!
Saturday morning, we met a friend at a park in Dorr for some family pictures. The girls did well, we got some cute pictures, and I can't wait to start editing them so we can get them printed! After pictures, the girls played on the playground for a while before we returned home for another day of play at home.
Saturday night, Jay, Becci, Becci's niece, Uncle Andy and the Sebrights joined us for some more fun.
Sunday morning, the girls donned their new big sister shirts to share the news with our church friends, and Ezri was very excited to tell her friends.
Good things are happening and it is so fun to be a part of it with these three and their Daddy along for the ride!
