18 Months and 20 Weeks

A much calmer and quieter week.

Friday marked 18 Months for Ezri.  So hard to believe she is a year and a half old already!  Of course, the horse and hat pictures are even more difficult now as she is so busy and has her own agenda which most often does not match mine :)

 

Saturday, we met up with Andy, Scott and Dawn and checked out the Metro Cruise for a while on 28th St.  Ezri was most concerned with getting a balloon as she saw other children carrying them around, so it became our quest to find one for her... we did :)

Sunday we had the privilege of watch our nephew Wesley be baptized.  After the service, we joined Mike, Kerri, Aubrey and Wesley at their home with other family members to have lunch and celebrate the precious gift they have been given to love.  Ezri hammed it up, as always, riding in the power wheels jeep and playing in the sandbox.

Monday we went to get some more beans and spent the afternoon canning.  We have a pantry full of goodies from the garden and are so grateful!  Tuesday we went to visit the doctor for my 20 week checkup.  Baby Fig is doing well, becoming more and more active each day.  Half way there already! 

Wednesday, Ezri and I caught up on some housework.  The floors were in desperate need of some help, so as I was vacuuming, Ezri pulled out her little vacuum as well and followed me around, "helping" :)  Such a cutie!  Later in the morning, we went to play with Madison and Landri for a while, and this Mommy got in some adult conversation with their Mommy, Emily.  We had a good time and came home with another big tote full of clothes for Ezri to grow into.

Thursday we tackled some more housework.  Then we tackled Ezri's room!  After washing all of the clothes we got from Emily's they needed to be sorted and added to those we already had.  Of course, opening up the bins of clothes unlocked treasures for Ezri, including new shoes that were too big...

We soon had her room all full of piles of clothes. After a short time, we were able to get them sorted into sizes and back into bins again.  I do believe we will be set with clothes for Ezri for the next 2 years if she continues to grow the way she has.  We are up to 2T, but with her still wearing 9 and a few 12 month clothes, it will be a while before we get to those!  Still, we are grateful to have the opportunity to get these clothes that are so well cared for and quite nice for next to nothing!

We are looking ahead to Labor Day weekend and some good quality time with our good friends.  Who knows what adventures we might find ourselves on this weekend??!!
