We have enjoyed a quiet week at home this week. For the remainder of the weekend and the beginning of this past week, we had our little adopted kitty, who has been come to known as Hope, with us. She got cozy in our house for a few days, and seemed to find herself at home. However, as of Wednesday, we've not seen or heard from her, so we are hoping she has found someone else to care for her.
Saturday we got to visit with Opa, Oma and Uncle Michael. Both girls enjoyed the extra attention! We also got to share supper on Tuesday night with Grandpa and Grandma. We enjoyed being able to spend that time with our families.
Monday, Uncle Michael spent lunch and the afternoon with the girls and I. It was a perfect late summer/early fall day. Beautiful sunshine, a light breeze and just the right temperature! We spent the entire afternoon outside just playing and boy was it fun!
Come Tuesday evening, poor little Alora was plain wore out. While in her jumper as I prepared supper, she crashed and had a little nap :)
Daddy has been away much of the week working with another company on their site. The girls have handled this pretty well, but he is surely missed. Several times we have been able to Facetime with him during lunch, which has been fun.
Alora has had her two top teeth come in this past week, one on Saturday and one on Wednesday. We are still awaiting two more pushing through on the bottom, and now I see two more working their way down on the top! Poor girl... she's so good all day and rarely fusses, but nights have been fussy and naps are a struggle. Lots of cuddles and sleeping in someones arms lately, poor baby :(
We are now settling in for another weekend around home, sure to find adventure somewhere along the way!
