Still more adventures...

This week's gorgeous weather has kept me outside and away from the computer, so the update is late.

Last week Monday, the older girls embarked on a new adventure yet again - the dentist.  The first time for either of them, thanks to new health insurance that covers costs for the kids dental care.  Ezri was a bit hesitant and worried the days leading up to the appointment, mostly because of the unknown.  Once we got there, she was just fine with being first and was a champ the entire time!  She did great, and had a great report - good brushing, great teeth and a beautiful smile.

Alora also did great.  She hopped right up into the chair and was ready to go before the hygenist was.  She sat so still and followed directions perfectly.  Unfortunately, probably due to her love of fruit, she had a couple of cavities :(  So, we have to go back and address that in a few weeks time.  But, it has encouraged her to want to brush even more than she already does, and that's ok!

After the dentist excitement, Ezri wanted to spend some time playing with her new bow and arrow outside in the evening.  She got all geared up with her little backpack, bow and arrows stashed away along with her water bottle and journal for her great adventure - all before she came to me asking for her coat so she could go out.  How could I say no to that?

 She walked around the yard for a bit, then found herself up by the house where I watched in secret as she practiced shooting her arrows.  It was just too adorable to watch!

She soon found her way back in, asking for some hot chocolate.

 Baby sister decided she looked too cool with all of her gear, and wanted to try it out too!

The end of last week found us digging out the hat and horse again to mark more time passing...

Beyond that, much of our week last week was spent inside as another snow storm came through, closing school for a day and slowing down our outside play.  The girls continued with their school, learning their ABC Bible verses - we are through K now!, and doing their usual creative play about the house.  Never a dull moment.
