My Valentines

February is upon us 

We had a slow start to the month, but with Valentines Day ahead of us, last week grew with activity.  Saturday afternoon, we walked to the creamery in town for some delicious ice cream and some crafts and face painting.  It is crazy that we can go on walks in early February in jackets and use scooters.  Snow is non-existent and temps are in the mid-40's.  The kids had a good time and enjoyed the ice cream!

Tuesday was Valentine's Day.  The kids had made their own mailboxes, addressed Valentine cards and set out to deliver them all the night before, and were quite excited for the day's fun ahead.  We started with some heart shaped pancakes for breakfast with a super adorable chef helping flip the pancakes.

Then Daddy gave each of the kids a special rose, and Mommy got a pretty bouquet of flowers too!

Then it was time for opening valentines...

My little valentines had a fun day with a movie with mom in the afternoon, fun watching the squirrel eat from the bird feeder and snuggles with pets.

Sunday, after attending our own church for the first service, we headed to a second church with Kathy, Travis & Emmett to see Henry be baptized.

While there, Ezri ended up with a migraine and spent half of the service curled up on a couch.  Once the church cleared out and our friends readied for an after-baptism lunch, we remained on the couches for quite some time, through lunch and an upset stomach from the migraine.  

After about two hours, the medication finally kicked in and Ezri was able to get up and around again and we re-joined our friends in time for some photos at the end.
