Last Monday the excitement centered around the paving of the park. After the kids were done with school, they charged outside to find their friend Jamesen and then piled into the front yard to watch all of the activity while they played. They had a great time trying to get cars to honk as well!
While we aren't enjoying all things Covid, we are loving that Jamesen can play during the day on Monday and Thursday as he is at his grandparent's doing school from home those days.
There was a bit of everything going on at our house this week! Tierney, ever the one to be hovering on the edge of the bed as she sleeps, was discovered to have slept through a falling out of bed incident one night.

We got to see Great Grandma on Wednesday for lunch and the afternoon, helping to clean her house and provide some company. This week, I was able to present her with the canvas print of our extended family photo as well as individual family photos to surround it - she loved it!
I also brought her a photo book with all of the main photos from that day, and she spent considerable time looking through it, studying each photo.
One of the perks of going to Great Grandma's is the treat of ice cream after lunch, which the kids all love!
Saturday afternoon, the kids and I went out for a little fall exploration at Bysterveld Park. I was scouting for a photo shoot, so we walked the many trails and enjoyed a chilly, but pretty walk for over an hour.
